SOVALO Community Guidelines

Effective Date: August 25, 2026

Old souls. New vibes. Real connections.

Welcome to SOVALO

SOVALO was created to give adults a space to build meaningful connections through conversation, community, shared interests, friendship, networking, and the possibility of something more.

SOVALO is not simply about dating. It is about connection.

Whether you are here to meet new people, build friendships, expand your social circle, have meaningful conversations, network, or potentially discover a romantic connection, we want SOVALO to remain welcoming and safe.

Every member plays a role in building that community. By using SOVALO, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.

1. Be Respectful

Treat other members like people. Disagreement is allowed. Harassment is not.

Do not bully, threaten, intimidate, stalk, repeatedly insult another user, target someone after they have asked you to stop communicating, or encourage others to harass someone.

You do not have to agree with everyone you meet on SOVALO. You do have to respect their right to participate safely.

2. Respect Boundaries

Consent and boundaries matter.

If another user says no, stops responding, declines an invitation, asks you to stop contacting them, or blocks you, respect their decision.

Creating another account to bypass someone's block or attempting to repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop may result in removal from SOVALO.

3. Be Authentic

SOVALO is designed for real connections.

Do not pretend to be someone else, use another person's photos without permission, create deceptive profiles, intentionally misrepresent your identity for fraudulent purposes, or pretend to represent a business, organization, or public figure without authorization.

Your profile should reasonably represent you.

4. No Hate or Discrimination

SOVALO does not permit content or conduct that attacks, threatens, dehumanizes, or promotes hatred against people based on protected characteristics.

People from different backgrounds should be able to participate in the SOVALO community without being targeted.

5. No Harassment

Do not send repeated unwanted messages, abusive messages, threatening messages, sexually aggressive messages, degrading comments, or intimidating communications.

Flirting is not permission to disregard another person's boundaries. Interest must remain mutual.

6. Sexual Content and Sexual Harassment

SOVALO is an adult platform, but that does not mean anything goes.

Do not send unwanted sexual messages, pressure another member for sexual content, share intimate images without consent, threaten to distribute intimate material, exploit another person sexually, promote sexual violence, or use the Platform to facilitate sexual exploitation or trafficking.

Consent must be voluntary and ongoing.

7. Protect Minors

SOVALO is for adults 18 and older.

Content involving the sexual exploitation, grooming, endangerment, or sexualization of minors is strictly prohibited.

Suspected exploitation of a child may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

8. No Threats or Violence

Do not use SOVALO to make credible threats, encourage violence against another person, coordinate violent activity, celebrate serious harm toward a specific individual, or intimidate another user with threats of physical harm.

If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services. SOVALO's reporting system is not an emergency response service.

9. No Scams or Fraud

SOVALO should never be used to financially exploit another person.

Prohibited activity includes romance scams, investment scams, fake emergencies, phishing, identity theft, fraudulent fundraising, requests for money made through deception, fake business opportunities, and attempts to obtain banking information or passwords.

Be cautious if someone you have never met asks for money.

10. No Spam

Do not use SOVALO primarily to send mass advertisements, repetitive unsolicited messages, promotional links, referral schemes, malicious links, or automated spam.

SOVALO is a connections platform, not a mass-marketing tool.

11. Protect Personal Information

Do not publicly share another person's private information without permission. This may include home addresses, personal telephone numbers, private email addresses, financial information, government identification numbers, passwords, private medical information, and other sensitive information.

Be thoughtful about what personal information you share about yourself as well.

12. Meeting Someone Offline

SOVALO can introduce people. You decide whether to meet someone.

If you decide to meet another member in person, consider meeting in a public place, telling a trusted friend or family member where you will be, keeping your own transportation, keeping your phone charged, avoiding becoming overly intoxicated, protecting your financial information, trusting your judgment, and leaving if you feel uncomfortable.

You never owe another person an in-person meeting.

13. Never Feel Pressured to Send Money

Be especially cautious when another user claims to have an emergency, requests gift cards, requests wire transfers, requests cryptocurrency, asks you to pay travel expenses, requests banking credentials, or pressures you to invest money.

Report suspicious activity.

14. Reporting a User

If you encounter conduct that violates these Guidelines, use SOVALO's reporting features when available.

Reports may involve harassment, threats, fake profiles, fraud, sexual misconduct, hate speech, safety concerns, spam, or other policy violations.

Provide accurate information when submitting a report. False or malicious reporting may itself violate these Guidelines.

15. Blocking

You may block another user when the feature is available.

Blocking is a personal safety and boundary tool.

Users should not attempt to bypass another person's block by creating new accounts, using another person's account, or contacting the person through SOVALO repeatedly after being blocked.

16. Enforcement

Depending on the circumstances, violations may result in content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.

Serious violations may result in immediate removal.

SOVALO may consider severity, context, previous violations, risk to other users, and evidence available.

17. Emergency Situations

SOVALO does not provide emergency response services.

If someone is in immediate danger or you believe a crime is currently occurring, contact appropriate local emergency services or law enforcement.

18. Help Us Protect the Community

A strong community depends on its members.

Be genuine. Respect boundaries. Protect yourself. Look out for others.

And remember why SOVALO exists: Old souls. New vibes. Real connections.
